Solid and fairly clean.  Top right corner under driver-side hinge could be scrubbed up and painted or not.  No rust, just a little dirty and not an issue.  Notice how clean the shock tower hardware appears.  Must have been under cover all those years.  

 

Some tape work and repaint:

 

Airbox reinstalled, vents polished, springs painted.

 

Super clean.  The pads are from a boat-deck and because they are not like the stock carpet, they won't hold water and rust into the gas tank.  A nice view of the fuel pump setup and related ground wire:

Headlight buckets are rusted.  This is a cutout from my donor car.  Can do passenger side too, they are both rusted.  I did grind-off the braise on the bottom of the tubes in the car so now it just needs the scab-in work.  Would probably mount this to the inside of the existing buckets.  I have seen pictures of what is under these, once you cut out the old and it varies from surface rust to a mess, don't know at this time.

 

 

The headlight buckets tend to clog with leaves and debris and that water muck causes rust.  Driver's side was particularly bad.

 

 

 

Passenger side is rusted, but not pin-holed.
