Joe's 914 Project
Size considerations:
I am running 205/55R15s and that makes the actual speedometer error around 5-6 MPH (11%) around town (not the Circumference difference noted below in the chart). Best to use your phone GPS to get actual speed and compare that to the speedometer at 3 speeds to get the average percentage of error if you want to recalibrate the speedometer or change the speedometer drive ratio form the standard 1:1 ratio. The 914 is not known to have an accurate speedometer with any tire.
A street and non-auto-X tire with a tread wear (TW) rating of 300 was the target tire. The Yokohama Fleva tires are summer tires and you can't use them below 45 degrees F. I don't use the car November to February and that worked fine for me.

My untouched Gas Burners with no center caps (I have a set of untouched copycat Fuchs too). The tire below is very old (21 years old), Kelly Springfield EVO-Z tires, note the stepped-bead at the rim to help them site flatter. The Yokohama Fleva is similar with a stepped bed. The KS tires are too hard from heat cycling and age.
