The turn-signals are in the front of the car and they do not blink on the side-markers.  I decided to make the side markers blink to a new bulb and retain the original side marker light.  This is a very inexpensive LED item, it just takes some time to fish the looping wire and to setup the circular LED.

 

Lights are on AND the turn signal blinker circle is in a FLASH-ON mode.  The center of the side-marker still has the running light on (center of the side-marker).

Notice the blue wire.  That loops into the harness and back to the front signal light:
