I cleaned-up what I had and took the best one (left).

Red arrow below.  The firewall bushing is a new white nylon bushing.  The linkage is done in bronze bushings.

The shifter has a new transmission seal.  The bushing in the side-shift plate is bronze.  Note that the POR-15 on the shift rod was sanded-away because any paint will make it too thick for the bushings.  The grease used here is RED-Tacky marine grease.
