Welded in and cleaned up.  Notice the larger vent hole in the bottom so that the crud can be cleaned-out in the future.  Stock is a small vent hole.  Both sides were setup ike this and dauber swabs were used with POR15 and then undercoating to prevent rust.

 

 

I removed the bottom of the rusted jack plate.  Found a great post on the web that showed this and it is far easier this way because there is no need to remove part of the quarter panel or sill plate to do it this way.

 

Cleaned up a bit.  Note the HOLE in the quarter panel (fixed that up in a wild fab-job for the Passenger Quarter Panel Corner - posted in another subsection here)
