Just some small notes for anyone interested:

▪Don't use rattle cans in your work-space, the dust will land everywhere.  Go outside.

▪Always wash with soap first to remove the grease.  I use Dawn Power Spry.  You don't want to sand the grease into the sanding scratches.

▪Always clean with Acetone or Alcohol, BUT ALWYAYS wait 15 minutes for it to flash-off.  If you don't do that then you will get crinkles and need to start anew.

▪Before you paint the car, go over every test fitting, make sure you have good threads, make sure you have the brake-line tabs welded in place under the engine shelf, etc.

▪Test fit the doors, you might need a slide hammer to align the front edge of the doors to the fenders and that needs to be done before paint.

▪After you paint, be patient and protect surfaces with blankets, cardboard, foam padding, etc.
