Are these ever OK?  I need to develop a glass case to surround the car for when it rains, like a die-cast car display.

Passenger side shows a hole.  Driver's side looks solid.  This was 100% replaced for the entire length.  Not shown, the corners near the hinges / windshield are a bit rough, but not through the metal, just missing some edges.
